Hydrant valves (also called landing valves) provide the means to draw water for firefighting from the firewater piping network. They are normally mounted onto stand posts, fitted on the fire water network.
Hydrant valve type A, ISI marked (IS:5290), made of stainless steel (SS304), having a 75 mm flanged inlet and a 63 mm female instantaneous outlet, provided with a CI handwheel for operation and a PVC blank with a chain. Body painted with two coats of superior quality paint, hydraulically pressure tested at 21 kgf/cm² (seat). Flow 900 lpm (minimum) at rated pressure.
